Revolutionising post-consumer garment sorting
Reclaim AI is a research-driven project developing a robotic AI system to industrialise garment sorting, transforming processes that are currently manual and inefficient. Our prototype applies computer vision and large language models (LLMs) to optimise sorting, achieving higher accuracy and speed while enabling scalable deployment.
The project’s focus is on rapid prototyping, bridging lab-scale research with industrial application to accelerate innovation in post consumer garment recovery. Delivered as a SaaS platform, Reclaim AI not only supports automated sorting but also analyses customer-uploaded images to extract metadata (brand, size, defects, condition). This enables workflow recommendations for resale, repair, or upcycling, reducing waste while increasing profitability for collectors and recyclers.
